Royal Enfield Himalayan is the first ever adventurer touring motorcycle from the house of iconic brand Royal Enfield. The motorcycle not only has a brand new chassis but also a brand new engine on board, the 411cc single cylinder, oil cooled SOHC engine is claimed to have least amount of vibration. The mill is featured with counter balancers resulting into reduced vibration. Features like luggage mount, Panniers and Jerry can fitment make this bike ideal for touring.
Looks and Style: In looks and styling the Himalayan is an outright touring machine, high raised front fender, long travel front suspension, high handlebar and fairly big fuel tank all makes this bike a true tourer apt for all adventure junkies out there. The motorcycle comes featured with sturdy spoke wheels instead of alloy wheels. Bigger profile tyres with block pattern treads are featured to perform the off roading with confidence. The RE Himalayan comes equipped with all new analogue cum digital meter console. The instrument cluster is featured with Digital Compass, Trip meter, Clock, Thermometer and Odometer. Whereas dials like Speedometer, Techometer and Fuel gauge comes in old fashioned analogue. The motorcycle has halogen headlamp upfront with LED taillight. The bike also comes with rider friendly seat height of 800mm.

The front wheel of Himalayan is of 21 inch whereas the rear spoke wheel has 17 inch tyre. Braking duty is been carried out by 300mm front disc brake with 2 piston floating caliper and the rear has a 240mm disc brake with single piston caliper. The motorcycle has longer 41mm front telescopic suspension and a mono shock absorber at the rear end.
