1. Bajaj Platina 100 ES:
Bajaj has already launched this entry level commuter silently, this is the first entry of the lot. The all new Platina gets cosmetic upgrades as well as internal too. The Platina uses a 102cc engine which churns out 8.2 horsepower and 8.6 Nm of torque at 5000 RPM. It has a four speed gearbox, and clocks a maximum speed of 91 kilometers an hour. It has got drum brakes on front as well as the rear. The bike has claimed a massive 97 kpl, which seems way shocking even though it is the ARAI figure. 2. Pulsar 150NS:
For over a decade now, the pulsar 150 has been going good and it has been a long time since it got a real update. So this might is the next generation that carries the pulsar 150's name forward. The bike looks very much identical to that of pulsar 200NS, a thing which many of the 200NS owners are not pleased with. The power figures will be more than the present outgoing model. The bike was also showcased alongside Pulsar 200SS in Turkey, hinting that it will be here soon. 3. Pulsar 200SS:
Probably the most talked bike and also the most awaited. The bike's launch kept postponing so many times for so many reasons. So now with the showcasing of the bike in Turkey and also reaching the dealerships there, we can expect the bike to be launched here soon. Going by quickly about this bike, it is nothing but a full faired version of the pulsar 200NS, which is more of a sports-tourer. The bike will be getting fi and also projector headlamps. Going by technical features, the bike uses the same 200cc engine from 200NS but with fi, it is also expected the power to be pumped a bit more than the current 200NS. 4. Pulsar 200AS:
This just came as a shocking for everyone. Showcased first in Indonesia alongside Pulsar 200SS and a concept Pulsar CS400. The bike's name says it all, Adventure Sports (AS). This might be the bike which is going to take the place of the present pulsar 220 which might be discontinued (though we cannot guarantee on this). The bike gets a semi fairing just like on the 220 with a redesigned headlight which has two pilot lights, normal lights and one projector. The rear end of the 200AS gets an elongated fender as apposed to that of NS's. The power figures are not known, though we can guess that this bike will have power figures similar to that of pulsar 200NS. 5. Pulsar 400SS:
So this is it, the Big Daddy, the flagship model of Bajaj, the Pulsar 400SS. The bike was first showcased last year in Auto Expo. The bike will again be a sports-tourer and it looks almost identical to that of pulsar 200SS. The bike shares it's engine with that of Duke 390, just like Duke 200 and Pulsar 200NS. The bike will have 375 cc liquid cooled engine with four valve, triple spark with fuel injection. The engine will be mated to a six speed gearbox. Expect the power figures to be a tad lower than that of Duke 390's. The bike also gets ABS as optional. 6. So what this final bike is going to be? Any guesses?
Well actually even we don't know but hey what we can do is guess and that we expect the sixth bike to be either a Discover or a bike that is new all in all and may even come with a different brand name too. May be this bike will be a 125/150cc is what we can think of.
So here we go, we listed out the six bikes that is going to be launched in the next six months. One thing we still wonder is as to why Bajaj is showcasing all their bikes in Turkey and other places first rather than here in India? Not to forget the 200SS, 200AS and even the Pulsar 150NS was showcased there first and also what looks like a production ready model CS400 was also showcased in Indonesia.
