Kawasaki 125 series: The 125 cc platform from Kawasaki is getting an update in the form of a brand new engine and design. The upcoming 2019 Ninja 125 and Z125 are designed from the ground up to be a starter bike for the A2 license holders in Europe. The 125 cc liquid cooled engine will feature around 14.6 HP while sitting inside a trellis frame. No longer the Z125 looks like a Grom as the new model features dual 17-inch wheels and a taller riding position. Both bikes will not come to India due to “Value for money” and “tough competition” issues.
Indian FTR 1200: On October 1st, this motorcycle launch will fulfill the desires of Flat Track Racing fans. It would probably be the first of its kind and with a blend of cruiser and scrambler, the FTR 1200 is expected to blow a lot of people away. This, of course, can backfire, if the production model fails to live up to the hype, but every Flat-track racing fan out there is hoping that it just isn’t true.
2019 Suzuki Katana: “Katana” was a name given to the 80’s Suzuki sports bike which was developed by an ex-BMW Chief in Germany. The bike’s production was halted in 2006, and at that time, the sporty nature of the bike was transformed to a sport touring one. At EICMA last year, Suzuki showed off a concept “Katana 3.0”, which was a custom-made Suzuki GSX-1000F. It was designed by famous designer Rodolfo Frascoli and Engines-Engineering. The bike has an official launch date of 2nd October.
