Riding on the streets is what we all live for, it’s the ultimate source of happiness and joy in our lives, speaking from a rider’s perspective of course. Real world riding comes with real-world consequences. You can’t break rules in real life because there will be always repercussions. Luckily enough there is a place for breaking all the rules and it is known as Video Games. So today let’s take a look at 5 video games which satisfies your inner squid.

5: Ride 2- Judging by the title you can see that there is a part 1 of this game as well. Talking about the new version, it is a Motorcycle racing simulation, just a little bit less than Moto GP. Simulation games are famous for their physics and Ride 2 is no exception either. In this game, you will crash if you touch the side of the road or any other object but sadly it doesn’t work if you touch other bikes. It is a decent racing game featuring almost all the famous sports bike and canyon races.

4: SBK-X Superbike World Championship- It is a complex motorcycle racing game which has three gaming modes Arcade, Simulation and Multiplayer. In Arcade mode you can expect an amateur level difficulty and not every small mistake will result in a high-speed crash. In simulation mode the things are different, you need to be a hardcore gamer to just be able to finish a race. This versatility of the game which offers both new and advanced players an opportunity to enjoy makes the game a must play title.

3: Driveclub- Predominantly a car game but it does offer a good selection of Motorcycles from Yamaha, Kawasaki and KTM. What’s interesting about the game is the inclusion of learning mechanics in the game. Not only you need to press forward to go forward but you will also have to lean on the tank and in the corners using another button to do all that successfully. Controls are very sensitive and precise, they even let you learn and perform wheelie, stoppie and burnout. Track selection is very diverse, you can choose from a lot of exotic locations around the world ranging from Canada to Finland and even to India.

2: Moto GP: This Videogame franchise is more than 15 years old and spans across different platforms. The newest version of the game The Moto GP 18 features real world graphics and physics. There is a career mode, quick race and multiplayer available for you to play. The difficulty setting on this game can easily be changed and your experience differs with it. This the original motorcycle simulation game which started the racing genre for 2 wheelers so naturally, it is more competition focused than all the other games. The physics of the game are spot on and a single mistake at high speed results in a crash. Besides all that you can even play as Valentino Rossi.

1: Road Rash: Road Rash is defined as the burning of skin when someone falls on the road during at a high speed. Besides the literal meaning, it is the most popular motorcycle racing game. It was released in the late 90’s and have been furiously played by our generation till the early 2000’. It features an arcade-style racing in which you could punch and kick other riders during the race. The game also had a progression system in which you used to start from 300 ccs and go all the way up to superbike level. The game is a fun to play, easy to understand arcade racing video game which has withstood the test of time. Give this game a try if for a quick trip into your childhood.
