Do keep in mind that we are not comparing bikes only on the basis of their top speed. Their ability to maintain a high-speed without stressing the engine or the rider is also taken into account.
Yamaha R15 V3:
A true mini supersport by nature, the Yamaha R15 V3 is built to live on the top end of the RPM range. The bike produces 19 BHP at 10000 RPM, which helps the bike to effortlessly cruise between 100-120 km/h. Its dedicated racing position contributes to increased high-speed stability and helps the rider to stay agile. The bike is also equipped with a slipper clutch and VVA, which makes riding in ‘stop and go’ traffic, a total breeze. The Yamaha R15 V3 has an ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.27 lakh ex-showroom.

The most powerful Pulsar lives up to its title. The 199cc fuel injected triple spark motor produces 24.2 BHP, which is enough for a top speed of 150 km/h. The bike has a blistering top end performance and enjoys to be pushed to its limits. It is a comfortable bike to ride due to raised clipons and offers decent comfort to the pillion as well. For enhanced safety, it comes with a single channel ABS as optional. Its price is Rs. 1.27 lakh ex-showroom.

Pulsar NS 200 is the fastest naked bike in the 200cc segment. It glides at a speed of 110 km/hr and has a top speed of 140 km/hr. It is also a cult bike which enjoys a lot of fan following in our country. It is powered by a 199cc liquid cooled carburetted motor, which produces 23 BHP. It is slightly less powerful than its full-faired cousin, the Pulsar RS 200. The bike also features an underbelly exhaust, which increases its mass centralization and most importantly looks cool. The bike is also equipped with a single channel ABS for safety. The Pulsar NS 200 has a price of Rs. 1.12 lakh ex-showroom.
