Suzuki Gixxer 150
Suzuki till date has only one offering in this segment the GS 150R. The bike looks aged and has nothing to attract new riders. So Suzuki has played the word game here just like the Hyundai did with the Xcent. Suzuki unveiled the Gixxer 150, the term "Gixxer" is used for the Suzuki’s supersport GSXR class bikes. It’s said that the bike has been designed by the same designers who marked the history of the GSXR series.
Suzuki said that the bike would outrage its Maximum Torque at much lower Rpm compared to its competitors. So the bike will be city friendly. Bike will have a 150cc air-cooled motor generating 13.8 Bhp of power and 13.4 nm of Torque. The bike was showcased at the auto expo and looked good in flesh. The raked rear end looks amazing. The bike sports a 120mm tyre at the rear. The digital LCD display is also good in pictures. What you’d love the most is the exhaust. It is stubby but looks certainly of an upper segment bike and resembles closely with Kawasaki Z800. Honda's 160cc Bike
Honda has also said that they are working on a 160cc premium bike to rival against the Yamaha FZ and Bajaj pulsar. No other information has been revealed yet but it is speculated that the bike will be inspired by the CX 101 Concept, which Honda had showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo but there are no signs of confirmations from Honda to it. Lets wait and see what Honda has got for us. Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS
Bajaj pulsar 150 was the bike from Bajaj, which started the wave of affordable performance oriented bikes. The upcoming pulsar 150 ns, will take the cues from its elder sibling as the suffix “ns” suggests. As the spy shots also suggest that the ns 150 has the same perimeter frame, swing arm and visual cues from the Pulsar ns 200. The engine will be a 150cc air-cooled unit, assumed to have the triple spark technology. It’ll have the LCD display speedometer and tachometer as the Pulsar ns 200. The engine is supposed to deliver higher power figures with a certain increase in efficiency then the existing Pulsar 150 UG4. The bike is also supposed to have a 50:50 weight distribution and will be lighter than the current generation Pulsar 150. Spy shots also reveal that there is a disc up front and drum brakes at rear. This ns 150 is sport with the single shock absorber instead of the “jodi” of the current one. Hero Xtreme Sports
The Hero Xtreme sports, yes it’s the same bike as the current Hero xtreme, which is on sale now. The difference between them is the power. The Hero Xtreme sports will deliver a 2.0 Ps more than the current one. The looks are the same. Those eyebrows styled DRLs, a sexy rear end and a technologically advanced bike.
I’d say that it’d be a great buy over the price. Bajaj Discover F150
The Bajaj Discover F150 is a bike, which sports a quarter fairing. Other things you’ll find are taken from the Discover 125ST and it’ll be targeted to the audience who neglects the Honda stunner for its lack of power at higher Rpms. It’ll be launched either as the entry level faired commuter or the tourer segment bike.
So, what do you think of these bikes folks ?? Please speak out your mind and share your thoughts with your fellow brothers.
