After the launch of TVS Scooty Zest the comparison between the immediate competitors of it have become inevitable. There are at least one 110cc scooter available in every prominent automaker's stable in India, out of which Honda's Activa i, Yamaha's Alpha and Suzuki's Lets are the main contenders. All of them fall into almost same price bracket, here we will compare their Technical Specifications to get a fair perception about them. By this comparison we would try to give you an idea that which of them is best proposition out of all.
Suzuki Lets is the most powerful scooter amongst all and it has the best power to weight ratio in its category. Price wise also Suzuki Lets is neither most expensive and nor cheapest of all, it lies somewhere in between. On paper Suzuki lets is the clear winner but we would be able to give any final verdict after we do a shootout amongst all four. Stay tuned on BikesIndia for a comprehensive Test Ride Review of TVS Scooty Zest.
TVS always take their sweet time whenever they want to launch a new product. However, the new Apache RTR 160 4v was launched much earlier than expected. The Supreme court’s mandatory ABS rule is obviously to be given credit here.
Recently TVS sold 1 Lakh Apache RTR 160 4v and all of this was achieved in just a span of 6 months. With such a huge accomplishment, one must wonder, what is exactly the reason behind it. If we look closely, then there are a lot of them.
I love the TVS Apache RTR 200, especially its race spec, 2.0 model. The bike is smooth, grunty and lightweight for all intents and purposes. The highway stability of the bike is also really good, thanks to the 37 mm forks. The top speed of this bike is around 130 km/h on a good day but a guy has managed to take it beyond 150 km/h in his top speed test. You can see the video-
The impact of the new 4-Valve counterbalanced engine is easily visible. According to many reviewers, the bike vibrates. I, however, find this statement to be untrue. There is a clear distinction between a slight buzz and the so-called “Vibrations”, a term which people use to describe almost every single cylinder bike.
It is the battle of the century. The fight which will make or break empires. These are the two Titans which will carry their kings to the true heights of glory. I mean kidding aside, it’s these type of motorcycles which actually bring in the sales for the company. The whole cycle of R&D depends upon these bikes, more on that some other time. Today let’s compare the TVS Radeon and Hero Splendor. But since performance isn’t the forte of these motorcycles, we will compare them on the basis of "For they will be bought". Let’s begin.
Hero Motorcorp recently launched their first latest scooter, the Hero Destini 125. It lies in the 125cc segment which is also populated with a number of amazing options. TVS Ntorq is currently dominating sales across the 125cc segment. So today we are going to compare both scooters to check if the new proposition from Hero can make a dent in the performance scooter market.
Suzuki had unveiled their youngest offering from Burgman series of scooters at the Delhi Auto Expo earlier this year. The 125cc Burgman Street was able to generate the much needed traction for Suzuki Motorcycle & Scooter India from then onward. We managed to take the new Maxi scooter for a quick first ride impression just a day before it is scheduled for its official launch. So without wasting any time let’s begin.
All new Honda Grazia has got really cool and astonishing looks. The very first look of the scooter somehow reminds us of Honda Dio from the front and the rear end. Actually the whole scooter looks like Honda Activa has worked out, took heavy diet and transformed. Beautiful fine lines and bulky yet aerodynamic front of Grazia mesmerizes the soul.
Honda launched the Grazia earlier this week, and man it looks amazing and has great features compared to its family member the Activa just at an increase in price of Rupees 400. Apart from the wheelie that happened during the launch, the launch and the motorcycle turned out to be spectacular. So at marginally increased price let us find out if the Grazia makes a better option than the Activa 125.
Honda had decided to work upon different concept. So what if the Navi’s concept was not much impressive, no issues with that we’ll bring something new within the same segment, within the same technology (Honda’s perspective). And thus the all new Honda Cliq has got introduced to the market, for the riders. Let’s take the new scooter for a spin and find out if this concept would work for Honda or the company has to bear the same fate as in the case of Navi.
