
In July 2003, the renewed Bimota organization, still in a start-up stage, chose to come back to the commercial center with another model which would be 'Una Vera Bimota' fusing the best articulation of innovation, advancement and Made in Italy design flair. Therefore was conceived the new Bimota DB5 Mille.
Long the 'enfant shocking' of the Italian bike industry, Bimota was framed in 1973 and headed by Massimo Tamburini (later the designer of Ducati's notorious 916 and the MV Agusta F4 and Brutale). It made its name by building perfectly made, fine taking care of bikes utilizing capable engines from any semblance of Suzuki and Yamaha. This was all during an era when Japanese motors were route in front of their innovation, so Bimotas seemed well and good and we all longed for them.


From the earliest starting point Bimota needed to deliver a bike which would be aggressive and conservative, yet light-handling and pleasant to ride. Therefore, some specialized and styling decisions have been ensured that the DB5 Mille would have these qualities.

The Bimota DB5 Mille is the product of the enthusiasm, development and design style of an organization that intends to come back to the prestigious part it beforehand held on the world's motorcycling display. The Bimota models of the third millennium years will bring interesting Italian styling, and the eliteness of a cutting edge item, to the streets of the world.
