I should have looked back. I had spent two days and nights tirelessly working on the bike, forgetting to eat, declining to sleep: it was just me and the Darkspawn, going at it until it was finally time to load her into the tempo. The man in charge of the tempo secures the straps around her, and everything looks to be firm and well-held.
After receiving confirmation of our participation from the IBW organisers, I go ahead and pick up a garage space: so far, we had only been conducting airbrush work for bikes, cars and guitars, along with tattoos at Darkside Ink.
The day I saw the RD for the very first time, is a day that will be forever embedded within my very being. I remember being on my way to the stationery store, about to pick up some photocopies of documents for my tattoo studio. Riding down the lane on my RX100, I caught a glimpse of an RD350 leaning against a wall in front a garage.
At Darkside Customs, the Yamaha RD350 has reincarnated in one of its own kind- the Darkspawn. Watch the video of the bike and relish the ecstatic exhaust sound of the 2-stroker, while we prepare for the exclusive and mesmerizing story of making of the bike coming soon..................!!!
