It is a great move on the part of the company as the demand for 2-wheelers in nations like Mexico is increasing. TVS is going to open 40 dealerships across the country. The company’s flagship product Apache RR310 along with the rest of the Apache motorcycles will be available in Mexico. Also TVS Stryker 125, TVS HLX 150, TVS XL100 HD are some of the commuter motorcycles which will also be available. TVS Ntorq and Wego are selected in the scooter range.
TVS is already a multinational company with a presence in over 60 countries. Its presence in North America is only expected to grow as the demand for small capacity powerful motorcycles is always at the peak, especially in today’s millennial market. It is one of the reasons why giants like Harley-Davidson suffer from low sales while manufacturers of affordable and lightweight motorcycles, like Honda, and Yamaha enjoy global success. Currently, Royal Enfield is the other Indian company which is present in North America, in the USA.
