TVS has pulled off covers from its new motorcycle which was teased just a couple of days ago. TVS is targeting the sports commuter segment, the bike looks stylish, is loaded with features and a 125cc engine, which will be easy on pockets to maintain looking at the fuel price currently. The new premium 125cc bike will compete with Honda SP125, Pulsar NS125, etc.Features & Engine
The new motorcycle from TVS gets aggressive sporty looks, the design elements play a great role in that. The fascia with inward curved DRLs with LED headlamp, split seat, big looking tank with 10 liters of fuel carrying capacity, negative LCD instrument panel, all blesses the bike with sportiness, it gets idle start stop feature as well. TVS will also offer SmartXonnect with this motorcycle, which will help the riders to connect their smartphone for instant call & message alerts and get turn by turn navigation. Some of the features are first in the segment.
Raider has 124.8 cc air-cooled engine with 3 Valve, paired to 5-speed gearbox which pumps 11.4 bhp of peak power at 7500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of max torque at 6000 rpm. It has a fuel-injected engine and gets two riding modes, power and eco. TVS claims economy of 67 kmpl.
Colour & Price
The motorcycle gets 4 colour options - Yellow, Red, Black and Blue. Raider 125 is launched at Rs 77,500 (drum brake variant) and Rs 85,469 (disc brake variant) All prices ex-showroom, Delhi.
