The attempt to break the land speed record was earlier scheduled for this month, but due to a very unfortunate accident that happened a few days back where the Triumph rider Guy Martin got himself hurt pretty badly, they have to postpone the attempt. Guy Martin got crashed while he was participating in Dundrod 150 race last week, although, Guy successfully moved out of hospital with his sustained injuries but it will still take time for him to attain full recovery.
Triumph Motorcycles has now decided to attempt the land speed record on Bonneville Salt lakes next year 2016, and thereby giving Guy Martin adequate time to recover from his injuries. Triumph has further confirmed that Guy is being a one special gifted rider will only pilot their specially designed Streamliner and they will rather wait for him to get fully fit and take the project to its final execution .
