The bike looks bold & beautiful in blue, although, the Gixxer SF is been criticized by many for bearing the air cooled engine cocooned inside a full faring. The air scoops in the two piece fairing allows good air ventilation and by looking at the bike from close angles you can be assured about the same.
The meter console is a direct lift from the naked sibling and it is an all digital one, it is neatly fitted into the dash of the fairing. The front looks cool and inspired by the bigger bikes, the lines are carrying the design philosophy of the GSXR aka Gixxer series of Suzuki bikes.
It is expected that the Gixxer SF will also carry the same power and torque figures as of its naked sibling because of the use of same 155cc air cooled engine. But of course due to extra weight of the fairing the bike could be tad slower than the naked Gixxer. However, the added fairing makes the bike more streamlined and the elevated windscreen makes it an arrowhead on the straight roads and highways.
Although, we have our doubts about the handling of the bike, which is surely going to be affected by the addition of the fairing, that we would be able to tell you when we bring you the first hand experience of the bike in our First Ride Review of the Gixxer SF.
Till then stay tuned for more updates on the Gixxer SF as BikesIndia will bring you the Live coverage of the launch event of the bike on 7th April'15.
