Suzuki Motorcycles India has officially revealed the Technical specifications of the upcoming Gixxer before official launch scheduled on 10th of this month. As we all know that bookings for Gixxer have been started for few days, Suzuki has disclosed the Technical specs of the bike to further boost the bookings.
Suzuki has plonked all new 154.9cc SOHC Engine bearing 2-Valves setup, the engine is capable of extracting 14.1 Ps of Power at 8000Rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6000Rpm. The engine is mated to the 5-speed transmission and fueled by the conventional carburetor. The Tyres are Tubeless and the rear tyre is of 140/60R-17 size while the front tyre is 100/80-17. The front is bearing Telescopic suspension and the stopping duty will be done by front disc brake while the rear has only got drum brakes.
The new Suzuki Gixxer is coming in 5-different colors:
As if now we've seen only Blue and Red colors of Gixxer it will be interesting to see Gixxer in the other three colors too. The price of the bike is still not been disclosed by the Suzuki but getting the advantage of launching bike after Yamaha has launched its new FZ series bikes recently Suzuki should price the Gixxer prudently
to get maximum advantage.
