Read here, and now we are back again with another news about the H2. This time Kawasaki announced that the 2016 Ninja H2 will now come with an slipper-assist clutch along with ECU tweaks.
A slipper-assist clutch also known as slider clutch for back-torque limiter. This technology allows quick down-shifting (even at high speeds) without wheel-locking or damaging to the whole transmission assembly. Thus, helping in smoother downshifts and also makes the lever pull a lot easier. Read more about slipper clutch here. Following the addition of slipper clutch after Ninja 300, Z300, Versys 1000 and Z1000SX, it sure is a welcome for the might Ninja H2. Whether the 2015 H2 models can be changed to the slipper clutch and whether or not it is a direct fit is still not spoken.
The 2016 Kawasaki Ninja H2 and the purely track bred Kawasaki Ninja H2R will continue to be a limited production, though the H2 now comes with a new colour and slipper clutch.
Furthermore, the Kawasaki said that the Kawasaki Ninja H2 will continue it's limited production for 2016 in a new "Mirror Coated Spark Black:" scheme plus the adoption of an slipper-assist clutch as well as ECU upgrades for both the H2 and H2R.
