You read it first on BikesIndia, Bajaj who is going to launch the so called motorcycles from Pulsar range on coming 14th of this month, is actually going to launch two variants of Pulsar Adventure Sport series- Pulsar 200AS and 150AS. We've come to know this through our very reliable source that there will be both the models launched together on next week.The Bajaj Pulsar 200AS is already spotted at the Bajaj dealerships, thereby the launch of this Adventure Sport model from Pulsar series was already confirmed but now another model from same Adventure Sport Pulsar series is also coming alongside the 200AS. It is believed that the 150AS which was also spotted while testing by our other fellow websites is carrying the new 150cc 4-stroke 4-valve triple spark plug Dtsi engine, which was seen on the upcoming scaled down version of Pulsar 150NS. The mill is capable of producing 17 Ps of power and it is mated to 5-speed gear transmission.
The upcoming Pulsar 150AS will share the same design elements from its elder sibling, there would be a half fairing mounted on the bike giving it a distinct look. However, the rear side of the 150AS would be different as there would be thinner profile tyre plonked on the wheel. There would be drum brake on the rear wheel unlike the 200AS which will have disc brake at the rear wheel. Since the 150cc engine is an air cooled machine there would not be any radiator slapped on the front. As the naked upcoming Pulsar 150NS will be coming with center stand, there would also be center stand included on the Pulsar 150AS.Keep watching the space as we will bring you more on this as and when it comes.
