The Himalayan is fueled through Carburetor and this might be the reason for its non compliance of BSIV. Whatever the reason it could be but due to this very fact that the new Himalayan is failed to comply the BS4 standards it won’t be able to make it in a city like New Delhi. Although, the new RE Himalayan will be available for display purpose in the capital city but they cannot be registered in Delhi. However, one can get the registration done in NCR region where there is no compulsion for BS4.
Report suggests that Royal Enfield is already working on the fuel injected version of Himalayan along with ABS version. The updated version of the Himalayan will be out by year 2017 and hopefully it is by then Delhi will get the new RE Himalayan.
The new Royal Enfield Himalayan will be available in only two colors- Snow White and Granite Black. RE has priced the new Himalayan at Rs 1.55 Lacs (Ex-Showroom, Mumbai).
