The delay is attributed to Royal Enfield's strategic decision to focus on the launch of the Goan Classic at their Motoverse event, allowing it to take center stage.
The Classic 650, which made its global debut at EICMA 2024, is now expected to commence bookings and test rides in India by January 2025, with deliveries anticipated to begin in February 2025. This model will be the sixth addition to Royal Enfield's 650cc lineup, featuring a 648cc parallel-twin engine producing 47 hp and 52.3 Nm of torque. It will be available in four color options: Teal, Vallam Red, Black Chrome, and Bruntingthorpe Blue.
While the delay may be disappointing for enthusiasts, it underscores Royal Enfield's commitment to delivering a well-executed launch for the Indian market.
