The Norton Commando and Dominator will be produced in very small number. Only 18 units of Dominator and 19 units of Commando will come to India. The bikes will have the name of the owners engraved on them. The motorcycles will also be allocated a special number to make them more special. Both motorbikes are powered by a 961cc liquid cooled V-twin motor which produces 70.94 BHP at 7500 RPM and 67 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM.
The bikes will not roll off an assembly line, like a mass-produced machine but will be carefully made by human hands. Each bike will have the flag of Britain printed on it. The 'Union Jack' is printed on the black finished tank of the Norton Commando. On the Dominator, it is printed on the rear seat cowl. It represents the British build quality and the exclusive nature of both machines.
The Norton Commando is priced at Rs. 20,99,000/- (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the Norton Dominator demands a bigger price tag at Rs. 23,70,000/- (ex-showroom). Both motorcycles will be made on order. The customers will receive their bikes after 60 days of placing an order.
