In a teaser video shared on the official Facebook page of Bajaj, a new motorcycle is teased which is going to be unveiled on 1st of February. The new model is touted as “Bajaj V” in the video and it is certainly going to be a special addition to the fleet of motorcycles from the house of Bajaj. The new Bajaj-V is claimed to be made from the metal of the famous Warship of Indian Navy- INS Vikrant.
The INS Vikrant was the first Warship in the fleet of Indian Navy and it was the spearhead in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. It is in the year 2014 the INS Vikrant was retired and brought to the scrap yard to get dismantled. Bajaj claims that they have bought the metal and now they have used the same metal to manufacture the upcoming “Bajaj V”. The name “V” depicts Vikrant and it will be a tribute to the once important part of the Indian history.
The bike is supposed to be the same weird looking model spotted a little earlier being tested on road. Bajaj is going to showcase the new motorcycle on coming 1st February along with another model. The new Model V is expected to have the tried and tested 150 or 180cc Pulsar engine and it will command certain premium for being collectable as it will be produced in limited numbers.
