KTM has finally announced the launch date of one of its most awaited bikes in India and yes it is RC 390 first out of the RC duos which are due for long time now. According to Motorbeam.com, KTM India is going to launch the RC 390 on 9th of September 2014. As per the source KTM has already started taking bookings for the RC 390. It is said that the new KTM RC 390 would cost Rs 2.40 Lacs (On road Mumbai).
KTM RC 390 is a full faired Racing version of Duke 390 sharing the 373.2cc Single Cylinder short stroke Engine. It is believed that the bike will churn out 43 PS of Power and 35 Nm of Torque and meted to 6-speed transmission. The new KTM RC 390 would directly compete with Honda CBR 250R and to a certain extent it will also pitched against Kawasaki Ninja 300, It will be very interesting to see Honda introducing its updated CBR300R at same price bracket, if launched both bikes will face cut throat competition as both will have single cylinder engine producing almost similar performance figures and priced at similar price tags.
