The bike is very stylish and stands apart in its category with the KTM Duke like headlight and muscular fuel tank. Benelli has come up with regular tubular dimond shaped frame instead of using Trellis frame as usual. The TNT 15 is equipped with 148cc air cooled engine with 2-valve setup. However, the power and torque figures are not being disclosed by the company but a 148cc engine having a compression ratio of 9.2:1 is expected to generate around 16 Ps of power. The air cooled mill is mated to a 5-speed gear transmission and the bike is suspended on telescopic fork suspensions upfront and a monoshock at the rear. There are 5-spoke allow wheels and the bike rides on tubeless 90/90-17 profile tyre on front and 110/90-17 at rear. The braking duty is been given to a disc brake at front wheel whereas the rear wheel is featured with drum brakes only.
The Benelli TNT 15 is expected to make its debut in India a little later and it is also expected to be a critical product, responsible for generating mass volume sales for the DSK Benelli in India. The TNT 15 will be pithched against the likes of Yamaha FZ, Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache and Bajaj Pulsars in our country. The Benelli TNT 15 when launched in India is expected to be priced around Rs 90K to 1 Lakh.
