The new Honda CB Shine SP is the premium version of the existing “CB Shine” lineup, the new CB Shine SP is all together a new product and not any cosmetic work from the company. The motorcycle looks not only bigger in size but also very appealing with its new and bold fuel tank, flowing side panels as we have seen on CB Unicorn 160 and all new bikini fairing headlight with bigger visor.
The CB Shine SP is featured with redesigned taillight assembly, new exhaust pipe inspired by the smaller “Livo” and new alloy wheels mated to the front disc brake with Combi Brake System. Overall, the new CB Shine SP looks very impressive and fresh, it seems like Honda is now actually updating the product line up. If you look at the Livo and now CB Shine SP both carries same line of design and can be seen as the future bearing style cues.
The new CB Shine SP if featured with a new 125cc engine producing 10.57 bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and 10.30 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. As predicted by us earlier the new engine is mated to 5-speed transmission gear, instead of the 4-speed which was carried over by all CB Shine models till date from its inception in India.
The new CB Shine SP will be available in five vibrant colors- Red, Blue, White, Grey and Black. There will be three variants of CB Shine SP- Standard with drum brakes (Rs 59.900, Ex-showroom, Delhi) premium with front disc brake (Rs 62,400, Ex-Showroom, Delhi) and with CBS option (Rs 64,400, Ex-Showroom, Delhi).
