Harley Davidson has recently unveiled its futuristic yet controversial project "LiveWire", an electric motorcycle developed by a tradition bound motorcycle manufacturer, it was not at all expected from Harley Davidson to go into Electric bikes but Harley-Davidson has shocked the World and unveiled its latest creation- the LiveWire in New York City recently. However the officials of Harley Davidson told at the ceremony that the bikes showcased are only prototypes and are not production ready motorcycles but Harley not only featured multiple numbers of LiveWire bikes but also organised the parade at the New York City streets.
Recently, the Canadian website Motorcycle.com has featured a video of LiveWire being road tested at its full swing, even the test riders were very impressed with the performance of the LiveWire, specially the linear power delivery of the electric engine and mind blowing Torque out put at all rev ranges. The bike definitely has a road presence but the design of the LiveWire is devoid of the Harley Davidson legacy.
