The Italian automaker Ducati has launched the Streetfighter V2 motorcycle in India. The new bike has taken its design cues from the elder sibling- Streetfighter V4. The motorcycle gets V-shaped LED DRL, a muscular fuel tank, radiator shrouds in silver color, an engine cowl, a step-up saddle, underbelly exhaust, and a single-sided swingarm setup.
The new Ducati Streetfighter V2 comes powered by a 955cc, V-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 150.9bhp of power at 10,750rpm and a peak torque output of 101.4Nm at 9,000rpm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox transmission. The motorcycle weighs 178kg (dry) and it suspends on 43mm Showa BPF forks at the front and Sachs rear mono-shock to handle the suspension tasks.
The new Ducati Streetfighter V2 has launched at an introductory price tag of Rs. 17.25 Lakh (Ex-Showroom) and it will compete with the likes of Triumph Street Twin, Kawasaki Z900, and the BMW F 900 R in the Indian market.
