CS Santosh now becomes first Indian to complete the prestigious Dakar Rally, he does this by riding KTM 450. Santosh stands at 36th position in the rally, he was first ever Indian who participated in the Dakar rally. Winning the 36th position in the World famous Dakar is itself an achievement.CS Santosh was sponsored by the Team Red Bull and he was out performing from the begining of the race. He was invited for the event after his successful and impressive performance in the World Motocross Championship. The KTM 450 Rally bike which Santosh rode in the rally was supported by famous mechanic Melot Benjamin who also had experience of working with Rally expert Ruben Faria in the past. Melot is considered a great help to Santosh in achieving this victory.
Finishing the prestigious 9000 Kms Dakar rally in first attempt is itself a big achievement and surely will encourage not only the budding talents of our country but also the event organizers and sponsors to invite more talent from India.
