The Pulsar 200AS will share the engine from its naked sibling- Pulsar 200NS, and will be equipped with 199.5cc engine with 4-valves and triple spark plugs. The mill is capable to produce 23.5 Ps of Power and 18.3 Nm of Torque. In fact apart from the half fairing the rest of the features looked to be shared from 200 NS. and the distinguishing half fairing of the new Pulsar 200 AS is also equipped with projector head lamp. However, it is believed that the bike would get different set of ergonomics to justify its Adventure Sport tag. If the Pulsar 200AS really gets that essence of an adventure touring bike, that would successfully fill the gap present in our two-wheeler segment for an equipped and potent entry level adventure sportbike. Hopefully Bajaj must have done something serious in this regard rather than going for a cosmetic change by just adding a stylish half fairing.
