the rest of the upcoming bikes from Bajaj followed by Platina launch this year, the four out of the five models are pretty obvious and almost confirmed but the sixth and the last of the lot was a mystry up till now. When the most successful entry level model of Bajaj- the CT100 which was discontinued in 2006 has been reportedly spotted at one of the Bajaj dealerships.
Although there is no official statement coming from the company about the relaunch of the CT100, neither the model is updated on the official website of Bajaj, it is speculated that the bike will carry the same 99.27cc 4-stroke engine which was earlier plonked on the old CT100 model, that is the reason why this would be called as relaunch rather than "launch".
However, the CT100 was the most unexpected thing that could be expected from Bajaj for the updation of the current product lineup but now after the launch of new Platina 100 ES it seems practical to discontinue the old Platina which virtually has the same 99.27cc engine of CT100. Now, the upcoming CT100 will replace the exsisting Platina 100 and will become the entry level motorcycle in the Bajaj camp.
As, there has been nothing concrete revealed about the details of new CT100, stay tuned to BikesIndia, we will bring the latest about the happening shortly.
