The Italian auto company Piaggio has today announced the launch of Aprilia SXR 160. The much awaited premium scooter is launched at a price tag of INR 1,25,997/- (Ex showroom Pune). The scooterette can be booked for an initial amount of INR 5000/- across all Aprilia dealerships in India and through official website of the company.The all new premium scooter Aprilia SXR 160 incorporates Aprilia’s latest global design language. The flagship product of Aprilia in scooter category in India is equipped with a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, 3 valve fuel injection engine technology. The 160cc mill produces peak power of 11 PS at 7100 RPM.
Aprilia SXR 160 offers bigger, longer, comfortable and ergonomic seat to deliver the best riding experience and highest level of comfort. The seat is crafted in art leather suede feel, detailed with special stitch pattern in grey and red threads. The sharp body lines, geometric contours and high craftsmanship of the scooter reflect the dynamic premium appeal of SXR 160. The new SXR 160 comes with a fuel tank capacity of 7L.
